KYU RANK PROMOTION in JUDO
In the United States, kyu rank promotion in judo is carried out within club and regional systems, supported by national organizations such as:

1. Kyu Levels
The following grading system is commonly used:

Motivational System for judo training
System author: Artur Tsysar
We present an innovative system for judo training based on the international kyu rating system approved by the International Judo Federation. It’s not just teaching methods — it’s a system designed to motivate, develop, and inspire athletes at all levels. The meaning of the system is that the athlete is given a belt with a patch on which exercises or throws are depicted. After the athlete demonstrates the correctness of the technique and learns the name of the technique, he receives a stripe from the coach.

Key advantages of the program
1. Transparency and progress tracking
At each stage, athletes, parents, and coaches have a clear understanding of the development process, from basic skills to complex techniques. This builds trust in the process and increases motivation.
2. 2. Fundamental physical training
The program includes training in basic physical movements that are necessary for safe and gradual mastery of throwing techniques.
3. 3. Efficiency due to spaced repetitions
The use of spaced repetitions helps to consolidate basic and advanced judo techniques, ensuring consistent and deep skill development.
4. 4. Motivation through visual progress.
The use of belt patches makes progress visible and tangible. This motivates both children and adults and makes judo more exciting and competitive.
5. Individual approach in a group
The coach pays personal attention to each athlete, regardless of the size of the group. This allows you to achieve individual progress without compromising the quality of training.
6. Visual connection between technique and terminology
The system helps athletes associate the names of techniques with their physical performance through visual learning, which makes it easier and faster to memorize techniques.

What makes this system unique?
- Clear structure — based on international KYU standards, adapted for better understanding and motivation.
- Easy to understand — accessible and understandable to both children and adults.
- Transparency of information — athletes and their representatives always know what skills have been mastered, what goals have been achieved and what lies ahead.
The Artur Tsysar system is a modern way to achieve high achievements in judo through motivation, structure and transparent training. She turns judo into more than just a sport — it becomes a powerful tool for personal development.
