We invite you to visit the sports club "Dynamo Sports Center" which has a judo section. Our highly professional, experienced coaches will help your child achieve their goals and comprehend the ancient art of judo. Judo is a duel between two judoka athletes, each of whom seeks to win by standing (throws) and lying techniques (painful holds, choking, grappling).
The competition is held on a hard synthetic surface called tatami. Athletes perform in a special suit - judogi, which consists of a kimono, pants and belt. The color of the belt determines the level of technical proficiency of the athlete. Any bout begins and ends with both judoka bowing to each other. The duel begins in a standing position on the command of the referee "Hajime". If it is necessary to stop the fight, the referee announces the command "mate".
